If you read my last post “Well, hello there.“, you probably already knew I was curious where that traffic was coming from and couldn’t just let it go. Finally figured it out today.
It’s ICANN’s Centralized Zone Data Service.
That’s where people are getting a listing of all the domains registered under many of the TLDs, updated every 24 hours. Had no idea such a thing existed before today.
Also, there are some special Unicode TLDs like: 微博
Mystery solved. Tell Scooby Doo not to come.
